Dale is a senior partner who has devoted the past 29 years of his legal career to personal injury law in Vancouver, the Pacific Northwest, and out-of-province jurisdictions. He is often inspired by the courage shown by his clients and their strength in overcoming challenges.
Dale specializes in injuries caused by the negligence of others, including motor vehicle, boating, and aircraft accidents, as well as product liability, occupier liability and medical malpractice. Many of his cases involve Underinsured Motorist Protection (UMP) which is when at-fault drivers don’t have enough insurance.
Dale has appeared at all levels of court in British Columbia on behalf of his clients, including the BC Court of Appeal, and has won many seven-figure financial settlements. He has defended clients with a range of physical and psychological injuries from mild to catastrophic and has amassed a wealth of medical knowledge. He’s able to interact skillfully with specialists to secure the evidence he needs to defend his clients, as well as to ensure efficient access to the treatment and rehabilitation they require.
Dale helps oversee the personal injury litigation department at Helpforme. He also devotes a generous amount of personal time putting together seminars and mock trials to help UBC law students develop real-life skills.
