Doug joined Helpforme 12 years ago and has practiced personal injury law ever since. He represents both English and Cantonese speaking clients in areas such as ICBC claims, pedestrian accidents, and slip and fall cases.

He takes a collaborative approach with his clients. He also does so with the physicians, specialists, chiropractors, physiotherapists and massage therapists with whom he’s built strong professional relationships over his years of practice. This ensures that claims have a solid medical basis and that his clients get the best possible care from their health providers.

Doug routinely represents clients as lead counsel in the Provincial and Supreme Court of British Columbia, and the British Columbia Court of Appeal. He’s also appeared in the Federal Court of Canada and various administrative tribunals.

He’s an active volunteer in the Chinese-Canadian community and even represents clients who live in China and Hong Kong.

He’s a regular guest host on the Legal Hotline for CHMB 1320, and lectures at Registered Massage Therapy schools in the Lower Mainland.
